The wise rulers Mufasa and Sarabi are born a heir to the throne. Lion boy Simba spends a happy childhood with his girlfriend Nala under the African sun, which ends abruptly when Simba's power-hungry uncle Scar spins an evil intrigue against the royal family. Simba is forced to leave his homeland.
