An adaption of the Arthurian story „Sir Gawain and the Green Knight“: Young Sir Gawain (Dev Patel), King Arthur‘s nephew, leads a luxurious life. His mother, a witch, conjures up a test for his courage: A threatening green knight (Ralph Ineson), half human, half tree, turns up at Camelot‘s Christmas festivity to challenge the King‘s knights to an exchange of blows.
