Tickets & Pre-Sale
Corona Ticket Sale
Currently, ticket sales are only available online through our ticket store.
Furthermore, each performance is limited to 50 people. Therefore we will show each film twice a week, as usual on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Aula I of the main building of the RWTH.
Please bring a valid proof of immunization (vaccination or recovery) or a valid test certificate (max. 48h old) to the event. Otherwise, you cannot participate in our events.
We hope to see you soon!
|Regular entry:||3,00 €|
|Entry with membership card:||2,50 €|
Of course, anyone is welcome to visit our movies - not only students!
For regular films (NOT during COVID-19) there will always be at least 50% of all tickets available at the box office on the day of the film! (More infos under Pre-Sale)
Anyone with a valid student ID card (regardless of which university) can become an extraordinary club member of the Filmstudio for a semester by paying a one-time fee of 2.50 €. Owning a membership card reduces the entry fee by 0.50 € for all regular films of our entire semester program, as well as the following holiday program. In other words: If you enjoy coming to our movies at least 6 times per semster, a membership card would be worth it for you!
Membership cards are sold before each of our movies at the box office (Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm, downstairs). All you need to bring to sign up for a membership card is your student ID and a valid photo ID.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am - 2 pm, as well as Thursday from 2 pm - 6 pm at the AStA in the Mensa Academica.
Ticket pre-sale for each movie begins Thursdays, one week before the movie is shown. For special events, pre-sale begins a few weeks in advance - this will be announced in time on our social media platforms.
NOTICE: For our regular films there are always 50% of the tickets available at the box office! This means, if there are no more tickets in pre-sale at the AStA, you can always try to get a ticket at our box office sale right before the film - in most cases, being rather early will heighten your chances of getting a ticket. The only exceptions to this rule are extra screenings, e.g. the Feuerzangenbowle, for which only leftover tickets will be sold at the box office.
