Tickets & Pre-Sale
Corona Ticket Sale
Currently, pre-sale is available online through our ticket shop. Our box office has re-opened downstairs again, so tickets can be bought on short notice right before the film begins (starting 7:15 pm).
As usual, films are shown every Tuesday and Wednesday in the Aula I of the main building of the RWTH. At the moment, each movie screening is limited to 200 people.
Please bring a valid proof of immunization (vaccination or recovery) - we can no longer allow tested-only individuals to our events.
We hope to see you soon!
|Regular entry:||3,00 €|
|Entry with membership card:||2,50 €|
Of course, everyone is welcome to visit our movies - not only students!
For regular films there will always be at least 50% of all tickets available at the box office on the day of the film! (More infos under Pre-Sale)
Membership Cards: Reduced entry for movie lovers!
Anyone with a valid student ID card (regardless of which university) can become an extraordinary club member of the Filmstudio for a semester by paying a one-time fee of 2.50 €. Owning a membership card reduces the entry fee by 0.50 € for all regular films of our entire semester program, as well as the following holiday program. In other words: If you enjoy coming to our movies at least 6 times per semster, a membership card would be worth it for you!
You can buy tickets at reduced prices with your membership card online as well! When you purchase the membership card, a customer account will be created for you (if you haven't already created one), where you enter the number of your current membership card. When buying tickets, you then log in with your account to pay for a ticket (Special > Clubticket presale) for the reduced price of 2,50 €. Click here for more infos!
Membership cards are sold before each of our movies at the box office (Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:15 pm - 8:15 pm, downstairs). All you need to bring to sign up for a membership card is your student ID and a valid photo ID.
Currently, pre-sales is available online through our ticket shop and begins 2 weeks prior to the respective movie.
NOTICE: For our regular films there are always 50% of the tickets available at the box office! This means, if there are no more tickets in the online pre-sale, you can always try to get a ticket at our box office sale right before the film - in most cases, being rather early will heighten your chances of getting a ticket. The only exceptions to this rule are extra screenings, e.g. the Feuerzangenbowle, for which only leftover tickets will be sold at the box office.
