The Joker threatens Gotham with a bomb, which would make the whole city fall into an endless deep gorge. This way he intends to proof that he is Batman's greatest enemy. Furthermore, due to an inattention, Batman (as Bruce Wayne) accidentally adopts the orphan Dick Grayson during a charity event. In contrast to Batman, Dick is a consistently positive personality and very enthused about Batman, by which he gets on his new adoptive father's nerves. In the meantime, the Joker gets support from the phantom zone, including Lord Voldemort, Sauron and King Kong...
