Based on the original science-fiction anime movie from 1995, we are once again in the futuristic year of 2029. It's a time of great innovation and technological advancement, but also chaos and deception. Humans rely even more on augmentation and enhancements of cyborg technologies to overcome their weaknesses and injuries. Ironically this improvement becomes their indulgence, when a mysterious being gains control over their minds and bodies. The perfect soldier Major starts to hunt him down. But soon she must realise, that he is not the only one, who has been fooling her.
