Five years after the events of the original Mamma Mia Movie, Sophie prepares for the grand reopening of the Hotel Bella Donna, following her mothers death. Due to unexpected weather conditions Sophies plans are disrupted as many guests are unable to attend. Switching bewteen the past and present the audience and also get to learn more about Donnas past and her start at the island, and of course Sophies three dads...
After many ups and downs the movie ends, as expected, with a grande finale.
