It all starts with a mysterious beauty. Her name is Rita and after a terrible accident she has lost her memory. By chance the friendly and naive Betty, who just flew in from Canada to become a star of the dream factory, comes to her aid. Fate welds the two unequal women ever more intimately together and they dive deeper and deeper into the underground of the present in search of Rita's past. Their journey becomes increasingly dangerous and confusing. A fatalistic nightmare and a poorly gifted contract killer cross the path of the women as well as a successful director whose fantastic life is destroyed within hours by his bizarre financiers. Where might this path end?
